What Causes Abnormal Skin On Labia While Treating UTI Infection?

I believed something was wrong so i got tested for an std 4 days after the sex. The test were negavtive but my doctor said my urine was suspect for an uti, i am on my 4th day of antibiotics and although the bad things like sore throat are gone, i have seem to developed something on my libias. Could the test have been wrong and i really do have an std, and the antibiotics for the uti is not strong enough? Or do i now have an infection? or do i need to continue to wait?

1. since women have shorter urethra chances of getting UTI are higher in them and since urine was examined, but if improvement is not as expected you may ask for urine culture which can help your physician to select an effective antibiotic.

2. If an upper UTI is suspected, one should also ask for CBC and blood culture to make sure that infection hasn't spread to the blood.
