What Causes Abnormal Stool Texture After Taking Cefdinil?

hi, my 6 yr old granddaughter, completed a course of cefdinil for sinus infection on sunday. yesterday,her mother noticed a jelly-like stool in her underwear. granddaughter not c/o pain, no abd. distention/tenderness, no fever. she does not appear dehydrated, continues to eat/drink well. frequency of these small stools - many 1-2. could this be c-diff? thanks.

I appreciate your concern.
From your history it seems to me that it is an antibiotic associated diarrhoea caused by c.difficili..
The drug to be prescribed for it is metronidazole..
You should also consult your physician.
