What Causes Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding?

HI, i have been spotting for going on eight days now. I have a very rough period earlier this month 3 days spotting 4 heavy days then 3 to 4 more days spotting. two days before THIS spotting started i had one day of light spotting. This spotting has changed colors everything from blood to a deep rose, to a purpleish rose....im worried. Could this be a sign of the cervical displasia turning into cancer?
