What Causes Absence Of Fetal Heartbeats During Pregnancy?

hi my sister was told yesterday that there is no heartbeat of the baby.she is 37 weeks pregnant.they have injected her yesterday to start contractions.so far she is only 1cm.she keeps on feeling bumps on her stomach like when the baby used to move and stretch out.what is the reason for that.thank u

Hi, I think the feral movements can be perceived even after demise 9f baby because there is fluid all around the baby. So, if contractions of uterus occur, baby is pushed to one side and then reflected back. This can be felt as the feral movement. If on ultrasound, heart beat is not there, mist likely, you have lost the baby. Hope it helps.
