What Causes Absence Of Heart Beat In 11 Weeks Pregnancy?

Hi doctor,i'm 11 weeks pregnant woman. at my second visit my doctor said, after doing ultra sound my baby's heart beat cannot be seen. and also my baby growth as 9 weeks baby. I haven't any bleeding or miscarriages symptoms. my doctor advice us, come again after one week for the ultra sound scan.Doctor, i relay stressed. and worried. can I safe my baby. will be some miracle.

I understand your concern.
Absence of heart beats at 9 weeks fetus is a serious sign. Normally heart beats are evident in USG scan by 7 weeks at the most. You have no heart beats at the stage... that suggests missed abortion/ blighted ovum & condition terminates by natural abortion/ needs MTP.
Still, before taking any drastic action, it's advised to get a repeat scan after a week( just to exclude late fertilization & delayed conception .) / a repeat scan at different sonolography center... to exclude error in scanning
If the result is same, I am sorry no miracle will save this particular pregnancy. Miscarraiges at this stage are usually due to defects in fertilization/ fetal development. It's in a way better to abort it, rather than giving birth to a abnormal child .. thus making it's life & your own life miserable.
But investigations can be undertaken to find the basic cause / get it treated before next conception & also be careful during next pregnancy .. which ends with birth of a healthy baby.
