What Causes Absence Of Menstrual Bleeding While On Primolut N?

Hi i was using primulut n for heavy bleeding...from two months..last period were six days after date and now 9 days are over but no periods...sevear pain was in pelvic last week but no periods started...i m 40 and mother of 20 years son...what should I do?

Hi and welcome.
Well, these pills contain estrogen hormone and after the use of emergency contraception in some women, absence of vaginal bleeding can occur. Other possible side effects are abdominal pain, headache, nausea, fatigue. Pregnancy tests are usually highly accurate at detecting pregnancy if taken at the appropriate time which is 11 to 14 days after possible conception. If the tests that you did were done at this time or later then they are likely accurate. . I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
