What Causes Absence Of Pain After Falling And Twisting Of Spine?

Hello, I fell very hard tonight and twisted my spine sort of backwards and sideways whilst landing hard on my knees and then falling pon my hip hard and my side (still with spine bent weirdly). As I was falling I could tell it was going to be serious for the split second i fell but I have absolutely no pain. I was shaking all over especially my jaw for about 30 mins but it has gone. I know it sounds like a non-problem but I feel like it should have hurt and I feel no pain whatsoever. I fell onto a hrd floor too. Any thoughts?
