What Causes Absence Of Periods After Using Medicine For Abortion?
Sir, i am 29 yrs old. I have 1 doughter with suggerian and 2nd was dead during opertaion in the hospital. Now physically i am not prepaired for another child for next 2 years. unexpected last month i was preganent over 3 days and as per doctor s suggestion i was used medicine for abortion. and then periods came 2-3 days and then stoped. Ultrasound reports are normal .but now 1 month later still i have no periods geeting out. I am very worried about it. Pls..... help and give me your safe and healthful advice. Asha sharma

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion as the ultrasound report is normal mostly the abortion was complete.I suggest you to do a urine pregnancy test after one week of missed period.If it is negative wait for spontaneous onset of period for 10 days.If still no periods consult gynaecologist for medicine for withdrawal bleeding.It might be due to hormonal imbalance .Dont worry.Stress also alters menstrual cycle.
