What Causes Accidental Ingestion Of Plastic Fork Tine?
what would happen if i swallowed the tines from a plastic fork? i was eating chinese food and i noticed that the two middle tines were gone and my grandma told me it wasnt like that when she gave it to me. i didnt feel anything swallowing but im concerned cuz ive seen stuff all over the place about swallowing small sharp objects or plastic fork tines and how they will puncture your stomach or intestines and you have to get surgery.

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com. Sorry about your accidental fork twine ingestion. I am happy to tell you that it is highly unlikely that you will get into trouble with the fork twine. It should work itself out of your system and might hardly notice. You intestines have their natural way of working such objects out and I doubt that it will cause a tear in stomach.
