What Causes Ache Inside Ear With Headache And Dizziness?

Hello. I have had an ear ache in my left ear that has been coming and going on and off for about one month. It is in the inside of my ear and feel like it is a bit swollen on the side of my face. I don t think its a problem with my jaw because it does not hurt when I open and shut my mouth. My hearing is fine. I do get headaches a lot and sometimes feel dizzy. Any suggestions?

Hello,

Where is the swelling exact location? bIt may be a middle ear infection or it may be pharyngitis or salivary gland infection (mums) or abscess etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what is the cause. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams. Use water vapour inhalation and hot water consumption for a week. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
