What Causes Aches And Dark Purple Color In Penis?
Part of the glans penis is a darkish purple color, but not the whole thing. It also stings and aches a little bit. As an unrelated note (or maybe not) I ve had testicular swelling in the past week and am seeing a urologist in a few days. But his new problem with my penis started just a few hours ago. Is this a result of blood flow? Or because I had been advised to switch to wearing athletic support?

If color change it can be due to vassal wall injury ( causing stasis of blood) vassal wall injury can also cause swelling. Doing an ultrasound and Doppler will help you find the cause.
