What Causes Acid Reflux Along With Vomiting And Headache?

I went to the DR yesterday with heartburn, throwing up, fatigue, and headache. He said it could be my gallbladder, an ulcer, or esophogus reflux. After getting home my headache became much worse, all i wanted to do is lay down and sleep. Today i am still experiencing bad headache and a lot of heartburn. The med he gave is not helping much.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Heartburn, headache and fatigue can be due to GERD which may be primary or secondary that also is causing headache for example Typhoid fever, Gastroenteritis or so.
Since you have not mentioned anything about the medicines you were prescribed I would advise you the following:
Take a PPI like Omeprazole.
ANtacid liquid every three hours.
Domperidone with paracetamol to relieve the headache and reduce heartburn too.
Re-visit your Doctor and ask for investigations of blood, stool and ultrasonography to see if there is any gall bladder pathology or anything else.
Upper GI Endoscopy if the medication is not helping as there may be hiatus hernia or so.

I find this answer helpful
