What Causes Acid Reflux And Dizziness While On Metoprolol?
I am a 42 year old female and have had heartburn, occasional dizziness, fatigue and a headache since 1am Sunday. I have taken 4 Dexilant and 4 Tums and nothing is relieving the discomfort in my sternum/chest. I have had similar symptoms in the past but normally they go away with medication. I do take Metoprolol and HCTZ for high blood pressure.

You are already having hypertension and a complain of chest pain. Therefore, cardiac causes must be ruled out first and then think about other causes, like acid reflux or costochondritis. I would advice you to do ECG and if needed, other cardiac evaluations as well.
