General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms and signs you have given are consistent with severe acid reflux. It has got no relation to his previous surgery.

If symptoms persist it is better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated. An endoscopy is required for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
