What Causes Acidity Problems Post Gallstone Surgery?

I had gallstone surgery done in Oct. 2015. After a month or so i have gastric and acidic problems though as per the advise of the doctor taking small meals. I am not taking fried, oily and spicy food. Some times this leads to vomiting from upper abdomen in bitter taste. Any permanent solutions?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi, thanks for writing to us
the surgery which you have mentioned is not accurate, is only your gall stone has been removed or was it a cholesystectomy where your gall bladder is completely removed, if only the stones are removed then check your bile salt and acid levels along with one more ultrasound currently,
according my opinion you might be suffering from severe gastritis along with some bile block issues, once your investigations are done you can be planned for further treatment.
take care.
