What Causes Acidity While On Medication For Bacterial Infection?

My daughter is suffering from bactrial infection and is under treatment of a Allopathetic doctor. Her pain reduced but every 5th/6th day she is complaing gas and acidity in her stomach and suffer for1/2 days and getting normal again. What ayurvedic medicine she should take to recover her problem. Kindly advise.
