What Causes Acne All Over The Face While On Mercilon?
Hi. I ve been on Mercilon for about two weeks after switching from DearMe. I woke up with a full-face breakout, as well as breakouts all over my chest. Perhaps it s from something new in my skincare routine, but I don t normally have breakouts like this. Can it be caused by Mercilon?
Well, hormonal medicines can cause certain changes in hormonal levels of the body and can lead to a breakout of acne or pimples over the face and body.
Although mild reactions can gradually subside with the adjustment of the body with medications.
So the first thing that you need to do is to consult your doctor and get yourself checked.
See if it is hormone related and if the medicine needs to be changed. Also, you can apply benzoyl peroxide containing ointment over the breakouts.
Do cool compresses or ice packs. Avoid too much oily and spicy foods. Drink plenty of water.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Honey Arora,
