What Causes Acne And Redness On The Left Side Of The Face?

My left cheek on my face is always red and is constantly breaking out. The break out is not pimples, more like small pimple looking spots with no sebum or dirt inside of them. Regardless of how clean I keep my face, I still get these pimples . A friend said this could be the sign of cancer as it is always irritated for no reason.
