What Causes Acne In Pubic Area After Shaving It?
Shaved my pubes, caused a large zit to grow, I left it alone cause the last thing i need is an infect pustular of a hole near my goods, and hoped it would go away on its own, but alas now its massive, and it appears to be turning a blackish purple. What have I done?

You are having acne after shaving. Acne on the pubic area is commonly caused due to ingrown hair. Use of razor on the pubic area may cause some hairs to grow back towards the skin and into the hair follicles, causing skin bumps.
To avoid it, you should apply shaving cream, it helps razor glide over the skin. This reduces irritation of the skin and also reduces the formation of acne pimples. Using an electric razor is better as it does not cause acne breakouts. Avoid shaving closer to the skin. After shaving always apply antibacterial cream.
This process will prevent shaving bumps formation on your skin. Do not pick or scratch. Since the acne are purple, you can apply ointment Thrombophob on the affected area. It will help to release blood clots below the skin. Applying Soframycin ointment will help to relieve any burning sensation.
