What Causes Acne Like Bumps On Skin After Using New Skincare Product?
Hi, i recently started using a new skincare regieme (neutrogena) and after 3 days i ve noticed around one of my eyebrows/cheekbones i have small bumps (like acne) that i havent ever had before. I thought it could be the toner as it has alcohol in it (so will of course cease using it) any advice as to what else it could be?
I can understand your concern for acne like bumps on skin after using new skincare product.
This is quite common phenomenon to get acne like bumps on skin after using new skincare products. It is due to the fact that these products may block the pores as well as can irritate the skin.
In most of the cases it gets better by itself if the product is discontinued and there is no need o any treatment for the same. In case if it increases then you should meet a dermatologist to get a proper treatment.
For the time being period I suggest my patients to apply clindamycin gel 1% over the affected area very thinly at night time.
All the best.
