Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a lump, like an acne spot but with no head, between my eye and eyebrow which has caused my eyelid to be very puffy and the swelling goes down the inside of my eye towards my nose. It hurts and is embarrassing. I ve tried ice and then a warm press and wash. It is painful. What can I do?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne like spot below eyebrow which occur when there is stress and clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply adapalene gel once at night. Also wash your face with mild soap and cold water twice a day , exfoliate your face once a week , apply aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day. Take Multivitamin supplements. Drink plenty of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. If condition doesn't start getting better in a month then consult dermatologist. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course and can also go for chemical peel containing Glycolic acid.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
