What Causes Acne While Suffering From Chronic Cough?

Hi, I have a chronic cough that arrives around the same time each year and lasts for months. I ve never really had a problem with it. But recently for the past month my skin on my cheeks has been very broken out with acne. Could the two be connected? Thank you!

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You have cough problem in particular months of year

So seasonal means allergic bronchitis like type one hypersensitivity problem might be the reason

During cough for that investigate with CBC and look for AEC count, if more than 400 than allergic cause is the reason

For which detail work up with x ray and spirometry done If needed

Fexofenedine drug course prescribed for allergic cause

If you post photo of affected lesion than further comment can be given

Usually if it is acne than it is not related to allergic respiratory problems

Consult physician or pulmonologoist for examination and further work up accordingly

Take care
