What Causes Acute Flatulence After Heart Valve Surgery?
my husband had a heart-vale replaced july 16th 2010. at vanderbilt in nashville, tn. we live in decatur ala.
since the surgery he has had unbeliveable gas!! he is miserable, can you tell us what to get to get rid of the gas, we've tired gas-x and over the counter stuff, but, nothing is working, help us, please!!!

He may be suffering from GERD.gastroesoph reflux disease.Better consult your gastroenterologist .There are a few different medications that may help including PPIs, Motility drugs etc
