What Causes Acute Pain In Lower Back After Bladder Infection Treatment?

I believe I have a bladder infection; however, just curious - I have started Cipro so symptoms have gotten much less; but, when I lay down at night I begin to have great pain in lower left (mainly) back area. Almost a cramping type pain. When wake in the am very difficult to get out of bed due to pain. After up and around pain goes away. ???

Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi,

It doesn't occur because of treatment. It can be because of infection itself. It goes away. If it persists even after a week, then it needs evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Phanindra Dulipala, Diabetologist
