What Causes Acute Spasm Pain On Lower Left Side And Back?

I have an acute, spasming pain in my lower left side, closer to my back but encroaching forward (if I put my hand on my hip, fingers to the rear, that about covers the area). If I sit still, it simply feels like back pain but it worsens with movement and spasms, like my back is going to give way and allow me to fall

Hi,
It seems that you might be having severe spasm of back muscles giving rise this problem.
Movements might aggravate spasm producing more pain.
Take Analgesic with muscle relaxant medicine for 2-3 days.
Apply some muscle relaxant cream on affected part.
Apply hot fomentation.
Ok and take care.
