What Causes Acute Throat Pain After Vomiting?

After throwing up, immediately strong pains in throat, under neck. Felt like a ball was in there. Now 16 hrs later, still hurts very badly, feels like strept throat but many inches down the gullet. I tried not to throw up and held it back at first. What could have happened? Rupture something? could the injury cause a problem later? I have no insurance so will hold off going unless there is a danger from this kind of injury on down the line. Can you give me some ideas on what might have happened?

after vomitting , acute throat pain would be because of damage to the mucosa and GERD as well
kindly take an anti emetic and gargle the mouth
are you bleeding ? how is the vomitus ?
if it's brown in colour we will require some investigations like a gastrioscopy
