I have allergic rhinitis although in recent years I ve rarely suffered any effects. I had a bad cold/cough/sinus infection 2 weeks ago and am only now clear of the mucus. When I bend over a clear fluid runs from my nose (not all of the time but some of the time over the last 2 or 3 days). I ve had this before on a few occasions but not for a while and don t remember if it was after a bout of cold or flu. Should I be worried or is it likely to be my sinus issues?
Allergic rhinitis is characterised by running nose, sneezing, nasal obstruction .The factors linked to allegic rhinitis are dust, pets, occupational, genetic, food, stress, seasonal. So all this factors have to be taken care of together with medications in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.Considering your history it is probably an attack of allergic rhinitis,a very rare possibility of csf rhinorrhoea with same complaints should be ruled out.Consult your doctor for the same.
