What Causes Amenorrhea?

Dr, I am 46 years old, till last year I was getting my periods regularly, and after dat I used to get twice a month and once in two months, which was irregular cycle. Then fr the past four months I didn t get, I consulted a normal doctor, she said it might be my menopause and she told me to wait for few months. But yesterday I got my periods with heavy bleeding and severe stomach pain. I am just taking bed rest. I didn t take any medicine, thought to observe fr another day because today is my second day. And also I want to tell you that I am taking tab. Thyronorm 100mcg everyday one tablet in empty stomach fr hypothyroidism. Please advice me fr further treatment doctor.

These are premenopausal symptoms, no need to worry. Your doctor said wait for sometime even then there is exacerbation of symptoms, you can take HRT for the same. Consult your gynecologist doctor.
