What Causes Amenorrhea?

I just had my blood tested to see if estogyne was low causing missed periods for the last 6 months and the levels are all fine. I m 41 and healthy and show no other signs of early menopause other than tired and moody when I should be getting my period. Any reason for this?

Hello,

Kindly get your pregnancy test done once because missed periods always confused in women if you are in women bearing age and its very common cause.

If you are nearing menopause, then it is common as you are 41. If it is not menopause, then we need to think of other uterine anomalies.

Kindly get a USG (Ultrasonography) abdomen done to rule out any uterine or ovarian anomalies for your problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
