General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Causes of smell disorders are the presence of polyps in the nasal cavities, sinus infections, hormonal disturbances, and dental problems.

Exposure to certain chemicals, such as insecticides and solvents, and the use of certain medicines have also been associated with smell disorders.

Kindly get your nose examined by consulting ENT specialist, so that the cause for it can be determined and treated accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
