What Causes An Alternative Throbbing Pain On Side Of Breasts?
I have alternating throbbing pain on both sides of my breast right under they are about every 30 minutes or so. I am a 47 year old man the pain just started yesterday after I left the dentist office. I had a crown started. It is a sharp pain, it was first just on the right side and this evening it has been both. I first thought it was from lying in the awkward position in the dental chair. what do you think is wrong with me?
I really appreciate your concern. From your description I suspect you having intercostal muscle strain. If person comes to my clinic with these symptoms I would ask him about nature of pain, is it increasing or decreasing with certain postures, is it increasing with twisting of body etc.
In muscle strain it will increase by twisting movements. I advise you apply coldmassage to the site of pain to relieve pain. You can also use counter-irritant gel or spray for it.
Hope I have solved your query.
Thank you.
Regards, Dr. Manan
