What Causes An Early Menstrual Period With Abdominal Pain?

I miscarried may 16th this year, once my cycle regulated it's self they were 25 days. I just started this morning and it has only been 18 days. I can't get rid of the pain, and the blood is brighter than a normal cycle for me. For the 2 weeks prior my breast have been hurting like they did when was pregnant before. Could I be having an early miscarraige?
