What Causes An Elevation In The SGPT Level While Having A Mild Fatty Level Condition?

I have mild fatty liver as USG report says and recently I have found in LFT report my SGPT level is 111 U/L and SGPT 61U/L . I don t drink . Rather very rarely. I don t smoke. My age is 37. I m getting panicked with the raise of SGPT. My bilirubin level is very much normal.

The SGPT value of 111 is of no clinical significance and there is nothing to worry about in it. In case of liver diseases the values will be above two thousand. No treatment is required and you can repeat the enzymes after to weeks for reassurance. Better to stop alcohol consumption to prevent liver diseases in the future.
