What Causes An Elevation In The Calcium And BP Levels?
am 35 years old and recently had blood drawn due to vertigo. The Calcium was elevated at 10.5. I saw an endocrinologist and had labs redrawn a month later. My Calcium is 10.1, Vitamin D 25 was 29.8 NG/ml, my phosphorous was low at 2.4 and my PTH is 49.5 PG/ML. I had possible stress fractures in both posterior tibias late last year, I never had an MRI because I didn t want one and the x-rays were negative. Now my BP has been 140-150 over 80 s and 90 s. My endocrine isn t worried about my parathyroid but i am very healthy and have read my calcium at my age shouldn t be in the 10 s. He put me on BP meds but I feel it must be my parathyroid causing elevated calcium and BP. I need a second opinion please
