What Causes An Enlarged Heart While On Blood Pressure Medication?
I was told by a nurse from my general physicians office that the left side of my heart was enlarged due to my blood pressure medication. I am a 62 year old old male and just had a appointment with a Doctor @ Cardio Consultants of Philadelphia. My gen. physician said that I am a big person, 6 3 , 215 lbs. and all was well. What do you think?
You can consult a cardiologist and get an ECHO test done if the pumping action is adequate, nothing much to worry and only frequent followup is required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
