What Causes An Increased Liver Echogenicity?

Was told recently my liver has mild heterogeneous echogenicity but no focal mass.. From my ct in November. My ast and alt levels have dropped Just above normal range from the last time I had bloodwork done. Just had bloodwork on the 1st of this month and my ck creatine kinase was low of 22 and I compared my results from April of 2016 of 74 to the results from October 2016 of 51 now it s 22. I have been feeling generally unwell for awhile. Is this cause of concern?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the issue of increased liver echogenicity is commonly associated with alterations in cholesterol metabolism and consumption. It is highly recommended to get a lipid profile done with your pathologist through prescription of GP and get further assistance in this issue.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
