What Causes An Indentation On The Scalp?

Judging by a lot of reading i have been doing, it seems to be nothing but i discovered a indentation to the left of my hair parting(center), about 2 inches long and 1/4 wide. Just appeared today. Im slightly freaking out because I m going through a lot of medical issues. Have suffered joint issues nearly all my life, I m 31 y/o, found out i have hypermobility syndrome (still getting other tests to confirm or diagnose with something else), and just found out i have aortic dilation. I have adhd, anxiety, and stress like crazy at this point. Will this indent go away? How did it get there? Is it a part of my medical issues? Should i see my doctor about it?

Hello,

You have a history of many medical conditions for which you are being treated. Scalp indentation can be due to side effects of medicines you are taking but it can be indicative of some serious pathology.

You are suggested to get physically examined. Your treating doctor will tell you to go through Blood tests & Imaging tests (CT, MRI, X-Ray, PT & Bone Scan) to rule out Gorham's disease, Paget's disease of bone, trauma or cancer. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected & its severity.
