What Causes An Irregular Heartbeat In An Elderly Person?

I m a 73 year old man. I have an irregular heartbeat. I ve gone thru numerous tests on my heart including heart monitors, blood tests and lab work in the last four months. My medications have changed. I have been on xarelto and multaq for about three weeks. I am having some side effects. There is a lot of blood in my urine and and am lethargic. What should I do?

Hi,

If you are on blood thinning agents or warfarin for arrhythmia, please discontinue it immediately and get your PT INR done. Please share your ECG, ECHO and Holter report. You might need electrophysiological profile testing.
