Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I was wondering what are the causes for my symptoms or if they are related to each other. I have missed my period, 2 weeks late. I spotted when I once used the bathroom. But with negative hpt. I have been cramping slightly, which has fluctuated for almost 2 weeks. I have now discovered bruising on my upper thigh, which weirdly itched at first but I do not feel any pain to touch.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
In my opinion, you should get done repeat pregnancy test. All pregnancy tests are not 100% accurate. There are chances of false negative results. So we should first rule out pregnancy. Another possibility is hormonal imbalance. So get done hormone levels. You may need hormone pills to regulate hormones. Once your hormones are normalize you will be alright.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
