my wife only has problems with her nose iching in our house,she is on high blood pressure meds, and doesn t like to take prescriptions,she can go to other peoples houses and no problem,their is a neighbors cat that ocasstionly comes in, but she is not suppose to be allergick to cats, a previos owner had a dog in the house that may have pee ed on the floor, any suggestions?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Itching in the nose might not be a symptom caused due to adverse effects of blood pressure medication. It appears by your description that it could be associated with allergic reaction caused due to pets. Kindly take medication containing Montelukast and Levocetirizine once a day for a week. Gradually, your symptoms should get better. Avoid coming in contact with pets or its products, as it may precipitate such reactions again. Hope the information provided would be helpful.
