What Causes An Itchy Raised Rash On The Collar Bone?
Hi doc! I have developed a rash that is itchy,papomacular,raised, that started a single lesion at the level of the collar bone,below my larynx. Now it has spread bilateral and resembles a necklace.it continues to itch and small nodule has developed under each area that I have scratched so often that a scab has has resulted! I have had shingles before and this is not at all similar! I showed my family p.a. the lesions ,but she didn t comment on it....is it time to see a dermitologist? The occurrence has lasted for approximately 1 month or more.I m sorry but I can t pay your fee as I don t have a credit card. ........

As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
You can also take drugs like cetirizine for itching.
