What Causes An Itchy Scalp Behind The Head And Bumps On Right Armpit?

I have had an itchy scalp in the back of my head with a bump for two months. Now I have llittle bumps on my right armpit. went to see the doc (nurse practitioner) who said no head is symetrical and it is a little dark (the bump) but we both agreed it could be the scratching that caused it

Hello,

Itchiness of scalp can lead to dryness of scalp and unlikely to cause a bump. Bump in armpit needs clinical assessment. The bump can be due to lymph node enlargement.

However clinical assessment and relevant investigations are required to diagnose the lump correctly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
