What Causes Anal Bleeding?

im bleeding rectally everytime i go to the bathroom,even when not having a bowel movment. if i just wipe even very lightly i begin to bleed about 1teaspon amt.sometimes it is a larger amt. this has been going on for over a year.it was once in awhile,now its everytime i go to the bathroom. please help me . what is it.

Hello,

You have an anal bleeding complaint. Hence workup needed further in form of proctoscopy rectal examination. Piles, anal polyp, rectal polyp, rectal prolapse, proctitis like inflammation etcetera can lead to bleeding. So rule out the cause by examination and accordingly, further management plan decided.
