I had my gaulbladder removed a couple of years ago. For the past few months there has been some kind of discharge coming out of my butt. They said when I was in the hospital that I may have that colitis, but I have not been able since because of money situation. I have no energy at all I can only stand to eat once a day. General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, the anal leakage has no concern with gall bladder removal if it was uncomplicated cholecystectomy. The current issue can be part of peri anal or enterocutaneous fistula as manifestation of Crohn`s or others. He must be examined by his consultant surgeon for further guidelines without any delay.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
