What Causes Anger And Irritability In A Diabetic And Overweight Person?

This question isn t for me it s move of a third person view but here is a onsite of it but I don t know what to do or what. My brother is over weight and has diabetes. About a month ago he took him self to the hospital and he said in the hospital that he was going to change his ways as he doesn t exercise, eats poor food for him, drink energy drinks which he shouldn t and he sleeps on the sofa even though his wife says he souls go to bed and there s a big argument why he should or shouldn t. He isn t in hospital now and he has went to his old ways. From a brother point of view this hurts me so much to see him this way; I can t imagine how much it hurts for her... I seriously don t know what to do its a serious consern for my side and the wife s side of the family we need help by questions like why every night when we wake him up he gets angry and starts arguing? And what we could do to help him? It puts us all down to see him like this.

Hello my friend.
I read your words several times and I can understand what it feels like.
Now from your brother's point of view he must be stressed. Knowing he has diabetes and also he is obese he might be stressed about his physical conditions. He might have tried to loose some weight but because he couldn't he gave up which made him so irritable.
But to help him I guess you can take him for some walks or some physical activities which he can enjoy and also he would loose weight. And as you said he's diabetic, he might be having anti diabetic medicines right? Just let him do what he likes and when he feels better, he won't be irritable like before. You can contact me my friend. Here's my email - gunjan.jain8dr@gmail.com
