What Causes Ankle Swelling After A Blood Transfusion?

hi i just had a baby about five days ago i had to get a blood transfusion because my blood was very low i received blood on yesterday and came home i left with swelling in my ankle and now my entir leg is swollen and my ankles and it hurts i feel nauseaus and can barely walk could this be a side effect?
