What Causes Ankle Swelling While On Glucophage And Zicron?

Doctor, I am diabetic on Glucophage 2000 daily, also Zicron 30mg and have swollen ankles which I believe have biven me swollen ankles mainly left ankle. Tabs forbp are Lercanadipine and 75 mg Losartan are there alternative tabs that might help with ankles as they cause dif in walking. from Sandi W

lercardipine is nondihydropyridine calcium channel blocker which has edema as one of their side effects. you should consult your dr and stop this medication. alternatively u can use diuretic to reduce edema and it will lower your bp too. but also do your renal function tests and echocardiography to rule other causes of edema feet.
