What Causes Anxiety Along With Appetite Loss While On Azithromycin?
Was prescribed azithromycin took last of a five day PAC on Tuesday 5/2/17 keep getting a very nervous feeling, NO appetite, yellow dry tongue. Nervous feeling greatly diminished after I force myself to eat, particularly beef (I.e. hamburger). Does it cause an iron deficiency and how long before this drug leaves my system.

The effect of Azithromycin lasts for a week to 10 days.
Your poor appetite is due to the medicine and the infection. There is no immediate danger of iron deficiency as the effect is temporary and you would regain your appetite soon.
