What Causes Anxiety Along With Dizziness And Tingling In The Finger Tips?

I have a 27 year old son who about 7 years ago we took the emergency room because he was feeling anxious, light headed and dizzy. He got tingly in the finger tips and started slurring. The hospital staff thought he was under the influence of drugs and tested him for that. When that came out negative, they ran other tests. They didn t find anything and sent us home. He is has been feeling anxious, light headed and dizzy again. How serious is this?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The tingling sensation is solely arising out of uncontrolled anxiety and does not indicates any disease condition. Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety. Relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation can help a bit. If symptoms are severe, better to consult a psychiatrist and consider anti anxiety medicines like clonazepam.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
