What Causes Anxiety While On Birth Control Pills?

Hi. I’ve been suffering anxiety which I’ve never had before, and am on my fourth month of Yaz, the Birth Control Pill. When I asked a GP about this they were quick to fob me off and tell me that’s a pill that isn’t likely to effect my moods. What’s your take on this?
